Our STORY
Altitude Church was born out of a dream to see our city transformed by the hope that can only be found in Jesus. In 2019, Pastors Lee Brown and Ron Olsen met together and shared a vision, resonating out of Ephesians 3:20-21, that God would take two declining, yet historic, churches and birth a new Kingdom ministry from them. Sloan’s Lake Church and Arvada Church of God merged together just months later and, together, embarked on a vision to sell all existing properties, locate a new facility that could be an epicenter of hope to our community, and launch as a new life-giving church that still honors our origins and a history of impacting the Denver-metro that goes all the way back to 1887!

We do this by equipping people to become more like Jesus.
OUR AFFILIATION
Altitude Church has its historical roots in the Church of God Reformation Movement with general offices in Anderson, IN. In fact, our church is one of the few directly started by our movement’s founder, D. S. Warner, in 1887.
