Three ways to give

1

GIVE ONLINE

We take your digital security seriously. All digital giving is safe and secure. Give online by clicking the button below.
P. S. - The online giving portal you will be directed to will say “Sloan’s Lake Church.” That is the correct giving portal. We are in the process of a legal name change with the Secretary of State... and that will take some time.

2

GIVE IN PERSON

You can give during service by placing your offering in one of our giving and response stations at the front or back of the sanctuary.

3

LEGACY GIVING

The WAY of the Unorphaned Child

Pastor Ron Olson

Mar 21, 2021

John 14 includes a contrast that many people miss. The contrast is that of two Judases. The first Judas has headed out into the dark of night to betray Jesus. The second Judas continues to seek Jesus for better understanding. One Judas is walking into darkness. The other is seeking the Light. As the disciples’ continue to wrestle with troubled hearts over Jesus’s immanent departure, Jesus promises that they will not be left as orphans. This theme continues throughout Scripture. Not only do we have The Spirit who walks alongside us, but we have a Heavenly Father who loves us. As Warren Wiersbe has said, “One of the best ways to ease a troubled heart is to bathe it in the love of God. When you feel like an orphan, let the Spirit of God reveal God’s love to you in a deeper way. ” We are not left as orphans... we are God’s children. When we take this truth to heart, our hearts find comfort. This is the way.
